What is it?
Cowboys on Campus, formerly known as Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students), is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to supporting our school by being present and engaged with students. The purpose is simple yet impactful... we sign up to spend 30 minutes during key parts of the school day with the kids -- Typically drop off, lunch, or recess.
While we might not be doing a lot in the traditional sense, our presence helps foster a positive environment, showing students the importance of involved role models. By being visible and accessible, we help to contribute to the sense of safety and community & make a difference just by showing up.

Questions?
Go ahead, ask away... we are here to answer anything.
Is this an ongoing commitment?Volunteer for as little as one 30-minute shift, or you can setup a routine with the school.
Do I need to wear a cowboy hat?Nope! Just wear whatever you would normally wear to visit campus. Tennis shoes may be a good idea if you choose recess.
Should I bring anything?Feel free to bring your lunch if you want to eat in the cafeteria with your child. Some dad's bring a football or kickball to recess, but most dad's just bring themselves.
