​What is the Program?

Character-based curriculum to encourage communication and growth between dads and their kids at an age-appropriate level.

All Pro Dad Chapters provide an opportunity for dads to spend quality time with their children before school to strengthen their relationship. One day a month, other dads and their kids meet together and walk through different topics that invoke meaningful conversations.

Topics We Cover

Dependability.

If you have dependability, the people in your life know they can count on you to do what you say you’re going to do. By being dependable, you show others respect and make it easy for them to trust you.

Gentleness.

A gentle person treats others with kindness and compassion. When we have gentleness, we do our best to make sure the people in our lives feel cared for and considered.

Courage.

Courage is the ability to face and do something difficult or scary. Having courage allows us to overcome challenges, get over fears, and go through hard times.

Forgiveness.

To forgive means to let it go after somebody else has hurt you. Forgiveness isn’t forgetting or letting the person off the hook with no consequence. It is deciding you’re done being angry about what happened.

Integrity.

To have integrity means doing the right thing no matter what, both when we’re in front of other people and when nobody knows we did it. Having integrity makes a person trustworthy.
